Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Wayfare Travels website (wayfaretravels.co.uk) and the services we provide as a travel agent. Please read them carefully. By using this website, requesting a quote, or making a booking with us, you confirm that you have read, understood and accept these Terms. Bookings are also subject to our Booking Conditions and the conditions of the airline, hotel or other supplier you book.

1. Who we are

Wayfare Travels is a travel agent arranging flights, hotels and holidays for travellers in the UK. We hold an Air Travel Organiser’s Licence (ATOL 10253) issued by the Civil Aviation Authority and are accredited by IATA (05-761892). 2. Our role

For flight-only and individual travel services we act as an agent for the airline or supplier. Your contract for that service is with the supplier and is subject to their terms and conditions of carriage or supply, which we will make available to you. Where we sell or arrange a package or linked travel arrangement, we act as the organiser and the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 apply.

3. Using this website

The fares, schedules and availability shown on this website are provided by third parties (including live airline data) and can change at any time until a booking is confirmed. We take care to keep information accurate but do not warrant that it is complete, current or error-free. The website, its design, logo and content are owned by Wayfare Travels and may not be copied or reused without our permission. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

4. Prices and currency

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP £) and, for flights, include taxes and fees unless we say otherwise. Some fares are sourced in another currency and converted to GBP for display; the final, exact price is always confirmed by our team before you pay. Prices are not guaranteed until your booking is confirmed and paid, because airline and supplier fares can change up to the moment of booking.

5. Booking with us

To keep things personal, bookings are completed with a member of our team — usually over WhatsApp or by phone. You select a flight or tell us your requirements, we confirm live availability and the exact total price, and a booking is made only once you confirm and pay and we issue a confirmation. 6. Payment and fraud awareness

Payment is arranged directly with our team through a secure method we will explain at the time. We will never ask you to send full card details, passwords or one-time passcodes through this website, social media or unsecured chat. If anyone contacts you claiming to be Wayfare Travels and asks you to pay into a personal account or share security codes, stop and contact us on +44 7988 515953 to verify. We may apply a service or booking fee, which will always be disclosed to you before you pay.

7. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for: providing accurate passenger details that exactly match each traveller’s passport; holding a valid passport, visas and any required travel authorisations; meeting health and vaccination requirements; and arriving in time for check-in. Please check your confirmation immediately and tell us at once of any error — corrections after ticketing may not be possible or may incur airline charges.

8. Travel insurance

We strongly recommend that you take out suitable travel insurance at the time of booking to cover cancellation, medical costs, baggage and other risks. Travelling without adequate insurance is at your own risk.

9. Financial protection

Flight-inclusive packages and certain flight arrangements we sell are protected under our ATOL (10253). Where ATOL protection applies you will receive an ATOL Certificate. See our ATOL protection page for details.

10. Our liability

Where we act as an agent, our responsibility is to arrange your booking with reasonable care and skill; the supplier is responsible for providing the travel service itself. Where we are the package organiser, our responsibilities are as set out in the Package Travel Regulations 2018. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that are not foreseeable or that arise from your own breach of these Terms or from events beyond our reasonable control.

11. Events beyond our control

We are not responsible for failures or delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including (without limitation) war or threat of war, civil unrest, terrorism, government action, strikes, epidemics or pandemics, adverse weather, natural disasters and air-traffic or airport disruption.

12. Complaints

If something goes wrong, please tell us as soon as possible so we can help — contact us on +44 7988 515953, by WhatsApp, or at bookings@wayfaretravels.co.uk. We aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and resolve them fairly.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this website at the time you make a booking applies to that booking.

14. Governing law

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of Scotland and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
